Breaking the Cycle of Poverty Through Education

WHO WE ARE

We are a private Foundation supporting organizations that fight poverty through education while cultivating a spirit of philanthropy at Lone Pine Capital LLC.

We are funded by the employees of Lone Pine Capital LLC. All full time employees serve as equal voting members on our Advisory Board.

OUR APPROACH

We award grants to programs that serve at-risk children and families in the areas of education and youth development. Board Members engage with grantees through rigorous analysis of grant proposals, site visits, guest speakers and volunteer events.

We evaluate our portfolio grantees in the following areas:

We invest in strong leaders and Boards who effectively guide their organizations to make a difference in the communities they serve.

We support organizations with a focused mission and a positive culture that promotes staff excellence, strong community partnerships, and effective internal practices.
